Greetings, and welcome to the first Neuromuscular Diseases Newsletter of 13 February, 2008.

This free newsletter is put out weekly and provides a wealth of information for anybody living with or interested in Neuromuscular Diseases and the effect it has on people’s lives.

2008 Started out with neck surgery. I am still living during the day with a “heavy” and at night with a “light weight” neck brace. Only TWO more weeks to go before it can be removed.

I hope you will find the 3 new articles interesting and informative.

There are so many opinions about EMG and NCV tests; I think we should share personal experiences in the Neuromuscular Forum this week.

Quotes to Ponder

"A righteous man may make a righteous work, but no work of an unrighteous man can make him righteous. The tree makes the fruit, not the fruit the tree; and therefore the tree must be good before the fruit can be good."
- Thomas Boston 1676-1732

“The best executive is the one who has sense enough to pick good men to do what he wants done, and self-restraint to keep from meddling with them while they do it."
- Theodore Roosevelt

"Don't argue for other people's weaknesses. Don't argue for your own. When you make a mistake, admit it, correct it, and learn from it--immediately."
- Stephen Covey
