Beer News:
A federal court in Germany has overturned the German Purity Law of 1516, allowing a small brewer to add sugar syrup to its dark beer. The Reinheitsgebot had forbidden anything but malted grain, water, hops and yeast in the making of beer. This ended a ten year court battle for the
east German brewery.
