Crime

March 19 2011 Crime Newsletter

Greetings, fellow crime buffs! I noticed last week's newsletter linked to the first Lindbergh article again-not sure why that happened, but this newsletter contains links for parts 2 (published last week) and 3 (with that "new article" smell!) of the series.

Please join me in sending good thoughts/prayers/whatever you do to the Japanese people as they struggle in the aftermath of the earthquake and tsunami and deal with the nuclear issues. The lack of disaster-related crime reports coming from that country is just astounding and really is something the Japanese population should be commended for. We've all seen reports of disasters followed by looting, assaults and murders, so it's really quite amazing.

Here's the latest article from the Crime site at BellaOnline.com.

The Lindbergh Case - Ransom Negotiations

Part two in a series about the original "Crime of the Century"-the kidnapping of the Lindbergh baby, covering the ransom negotiations, body discovery, and identification of the abductor.

The Lindbergh Case - Trial and Aftermath
