Greetings and Salutations -

I am currently in a sweep to update my ten medieval novels. I donate all proceeds to battered women's shelters so I want to do the best I can in that quest. If you saw the BellaOnline facebook page, you can see one of my reasons this is so important to me. It's *scary* the mentality that many teens have about rape.

Back when I first began publishing my books in 2011, I still tended to write in a "passive" voice, using "began to" and "felt that" and so on. Now that I know better (grin) I am doing a sweep to update the books and make them better. I want to do all I can to help my cause I believe in.

Do you update your books once you publish them? Give it thought. The beauty of self-publishing is that you can update and enhance them whenever you want. This could then have you run a Facebook launch party for the new version, and draw additional attention! The change doesn't have to be complex. Maybe you add a few new recipes. Maybe you tweak your statistics. It could easily lead to more sales.

CREDIT REPORT

My nephew is 24. He just checked his credit report and discovered someone bought a HOUSE AND A CAR in his name, through identity theft. He's in all sorts of chaos trying to sort it out.

It is absolutely critical to check your credit report every year. I used to be good about this but apparently I've been lax. I am doing it RIGHT NOW.
