Grettings everyone and happy fri.! Hopefully everyone has an enjoyable
project set for the weekend, whether it's trying a new recipe, baking
bread, making a gourmet breakfast or starting a meditation class. Free
time is so precious. So, try not to spend any more of it in
frustration and worry. I always remind people, even when you don't know
what to do, just try something different :) You'll be pleasantly
suprised with the outcome.

To help everyone get started, below is a wonderful recipe you can use for almost anything from french bread to pitas. I make a batch, divide it into 3's. Freeze for a quick addition to any meal.

French bread recipe

1 1/2 cups warm water
1/2 cup warm milk
1 T yeast
1 T sugar
5 cups flour
1 T olive oil
1/2 tsp lemon juice
2 tsp salt
(Cornmeal for dusting bottom)

Put all of the liquid ingredients in the bottom of a bread machine, add
the flour, salt and yeast. Set the machine to the dough. Roll
onto a lightly floured surface. Divide into 3's. Freeze two sections
and roll the remaining section between your palms until you get
a desired loaf. Let rise for 2 hours, brush with egg white wash
and bake for 30 minutes at 350. Serve with soft, creamy butter.
