March has been a hectic month and now comes the busy time for us autism families - April, which is autism awareness month. I have purchased new shirts for my nonverbal son Matthew to wear from stores on zazzle and cafe press. I got some notecards and other items I will be writing on soon.

MEDIA NOTE - I do not agree with Jenny McCarthy, have issues with the terminology she uses, but she has a new book out and going on a media blitz - so be on the lookout. I like to write down what she says so I know how to counter attack when those comments from strangers start comparing my kids to her son. We have been an autismfamily for 11 years now.

This also gives us the opportunity to blog and share our stories while she is trotting around the country with her message
