Do you ever get the crochet doldrums? That feeling that you'd rather not look at yarn, much less touch it or make something from it? I do. It never lasts for long, but every year, I get burned out after the December holiday season.
I figure I'm probably not the only one who has looked balefully at a work-in-progress, wishing I hadn't invested so much yarn into it, so I could abandon it for good. So, I wrote a quick article about what I do to combat that feeling, and get back into the groove of loving this amazing hobby. One of my suggestions is to find patterns that lend you inspiration. Here's a quick and easy one that's full of texture, and sure to be noticed when you wear them out and about. I call them "Picot Fingerless Gloves," and there's a link at the bottom for you to add the pattern to your Favorites on Ravelry.
