Poetry is the evidence of life. If your life is burning well, poetry is just the ash. ~Leonard Cohen
Our lives are an exhalation of poetry, wild and juicy as plums. The synthesis of saffron and starlight. The marriage of our pleasure and our truth. And nothing resonates the divine fire of being alive more than spring - with the exception of perhaps, Paris.
At least for the moment, I have spring!
The latest article from the Poetry site at BellaOnline.com celebrates all of this and more by chronicling thirty deliciously cerebral ideas - one for each day - of how to bring poetry deeper into your life by celebrating National Poetry Month.

Poetry is the journal of the sea animal living on land, wanting to fly in the air. Poetry is a search for syllables to shoot at the barriers of the unknown and the unknowable. Poetry is a phantom script telling how rainbows are made and why they go away. ~Carl Sandburg
Feeling a bit short on those rainbows? Need a light in your dark? Consider curling up with some candles, a velvet throw and The Red Book by the inimitably delicious Sara Beak, a delightful and ravishingly creative approach to restoring and igniting your divine spark!

In whatever way, I do hope to hear or feel from you soon,
