Greetings and Salutations -

I'd caught up on editor email, and then I fell behind again! :) I'm now in my Spring semester of school and have four concurrent classes. They are on Managing Change, Advanced Organizational Communication, Negotiation, and a Leadership Practicum. So you can imagine they're all fascinating and useful to the things I'm doing! I've got my schoolwork done for the week so I'll work next on catching up on email. If you have a question pending, I should get back to you shortly.

In the meantime, this is a last call for your choice of weekends in the fall that you'd like us to meet in Boston MA. Let me know by Tuesday, Apr 17th what your choice is. I'll then sort them, figure out which is the best for most editors, and we'll move ahead with the planning!

BOOKS AND EBOOKS

I am very happy to share for free a Word document, PDF, or EPUB of any of these for you to see how books and ebooks work. I have these published through Amazon, Lulu, a "real" publisher, Kindle, Apple, Barnes & Noble, and PDF. So I cover most of the bases :) Let me know what questions you have about the process, and I'm happy to offer advice and suggestions.

Speaking of free, be sure to swing by the Editor Forum. I posted an updated list of free books I'm giving away, with a short description of each. Just let me know which you'd like sent to you, and I'll pop them into the mail!

GOOGLE+

Several of you have been asking about integrating a Google + author link into our pages. That is, if you have a Google + account, it provides you great benefit to link your articles to that account and the account to the articles. Google rewards you with a high ranking. So this is something to do with all websites you write for. I am working on setting that up within BellaOnline and will let you know when that is ready for use. It'll be in the same social networking admin area as the Twitter, Facebook, and Pinterest links.

Also, I'm working on automating an anti-spam system in our forums. We seem to be a target now for spammers because we're so large. This system will help block out known spammers, which will make all of our lives more serene :)
