Greetings, fellow crime buffs! This week marked the 146th anniversary of the assassination of Abraham Lincoln. The first in a series on this crime is now up at my site.
I have been interested in Lincoln my whole life. I grew up in (and still live in) Kentucky, and I visited Lincoln's Birthplace in Hodgenville more times than I can count. It was a handy stopping point en route to and from my grandparents' house. The Sinking Spring, the Boundary Oak and the log cabin inside the massive building with 56 steps fascinated me and we always walked around the park whenever we went through the area. I even have pictures of me there somewhere around here, including one (a POLAROID! LOL!) in front of the Boundary Oak's stump before they had to cut it down completely.
Who else is a Lincoln buff as well? Be sure to check out my quiz on the assassination before reading the new article, to test yourself on your knowledge. Take the quiz at http://www.bellaonline.com/misc/quiz/quizdtl429
