This week I started reading a very interesting book. It is called The Power of Different. If you read it, would you please let me know what you think? I will review it for the ADD Site and post an Amazon link. This week's article is in response to reading that book and talking to another parent about a diagnosis of ADD.

Misjudging the Child with ADD
More than one parent has lamented about how their child was misjudged before the child received a diagnosis of ADD. The diagnosis brings the knowledge that these are not voluntary behaviors, but the brain based difficulties with the child's executive function. Sometimes the truth sets you free.
