Linen is arguably the oldest textile known to humankind. With beauty, durability and cooling properties, linen has been in continuous use for more than 10,000 years. Linen is stronger than cotton.

Cotton bolls and pieces of cotton cloth have been found in Mexico that proved to be at least 7,000 years old.

Silk is among the oldest textile fibers having been used by the Chinese since the 27th century BC.

Felt is the oldest form of fabric known to humankind as it predates the weaving and knitting of animal hair, wools and threads drawn from vegetable fibers.
