K-9 Officers work seven hours on the clock. They receive one hour a day to water, feed, and care for their K-9 partners. Each K-9 Officer is different in his approach with their K-9 partner, some officers allow their dogs to sleep inside the home, while others choose to keep their dogs in a kennel.
