I hope you are all having a beautiful Sunday and that you had a somewhat restful weekend. I went for a walk in Athens Alabama on Saturday. I went to look at some of the older homes and ended up walking to town and seeing a car show.

My first husband was into cars, so it brought back a lot of memories, he was abusive, and the smell of old cars normally makes me sick. But, this day, Saturday, I braved the feelings and walked through the cars, and even saw two cars just like the cars we used to have.

It didn't bother me. I was great. Went and had some ice cream and a soda at an old time drug store, then walked around the houses some more. There are some beautiful homes built in the 1800's and 1900's there. I want to live in one someday. I'd love to have one of those old mansions as a bed and breakfast!
