Greetings and Salutations -

I have just finished putting the mail system live on the new server. I gave the instruction to Network Solutions to start propagating the new location's IP address out to the world. Now we're in the 24-hour cycle where that request goes out to all the machines out there. As each machine realizes where we are now, their mail will get through to our servers and mail will start flowing through again.

This should be the final step of our move process. Once this finishes going through, I can remove all files from that old server and shut it down. We will then be wholly onto the new server and I can start the tuning process.

I'll let you know when we reach that point - that can be when we start sending announcements out to our visitors that everything is set and ready for them.

I did not update the forums during this process - I ended up being too busy with the file moving and such. So I will do that update tonight. Again, I'll let you know as I head into that.
