Greetings and Salutations -

I've begun the update to allow our site to use 200x200 images, in preparation for the mobile-friendly template. The first stage of this was to update our main site homepage and the channel pages.

This Food & Wine page has editors with the new 200x200 image, the middle-stage 100x100 images, and the original 56x83 images. You can see that the 200x200 is much easier for mobile users and tablet users to click on. In the future the intention would be for the featured image to be an image that has to do with the article (like a picture of green beans) but we'll take this in stages :). Having the editor photo is good enough for now.

Both the homepage and the channel pages show the latest articles in date order. The most recent article is shown on top.

Please take a few minutes in the coming days to load up a fresh photo into the admin area. The loading form is under About Me -> Bio & Email -> Bio Photo. I've processed all photos that were in the system and am ready for more. Load away!

This is all interim while we prepare for the mobile-friendly template, so don't worry *too* much about exactly how it looks right now. Of course if something is egregiously wrong please let me know and I'll fix it!
