Hi everyone,
A small break in the racing has led to plenty of speculation on Max Mosley’s personal life. More information than I needed to know, I think, but more on that later.
In the news:
• Toro Rosso have been put up for sale. Red Bull boss Dietrich Mateschitz said that there was no need for him to have two teams, especially as the customer car controversy continues. There’s no rush to sell, though, he wants a buyer by the end of the 2009 season.
• Max Mosley hit the headlines with his personal life this week, as the News of the World released a video and photographs of Mosley in a compromising position. Without going in to details, Mosley has now confirmed the pictures are real but that he doesn’t intend to succumb to the mounting pressure for his resignation.
• Finally, McLaren have been put to the back of the pit lane from Bahrain onwards. They enjoyed fifth position during the first two rounds of the season, thanks to some meddling from Bernie Ecclestone. Now they take their rightful position at the bottom end of the pit lane, as their championship finishing position last year dictates.

This time round: Do you think Mosley’s personal life should be left just as it says – personal? Or do you think his antics affect Formula 1 and it’s reputation? Should he be handing in his notice or sticking to his guns, as he is now. Personally, I think he’s got a right to do whatever he likes, but as a powerful figure in terms of the sport, he should be trying to command respect – and this is not the way to go about it.
That's it for this newsletter. I hope to hear from you sometime soon, either in the forum or in response to this email message. I thrive on your feedback!
