Greetings everyone! There are now four of us officially in Chicago! Helen was here to greet Jeanne, Jill, and I as we descended from three corners of the US. I came down from the northeast corner, Jeanne came up from the southeast corner, and Jill came up from the southwest corner! Now all we need is Rae to arrive from the northwest corner and we'll have them covered! :)

Of course, there is always excitement at our gatherings, which is why we plan loosely :) Jeanne was supposed to arrive first, and she got delayed in the middle and got to O'Hare just when Jill arrived. Then, somehow I managed to book myself to Land at Chicago-Midway instead of Chicago-O'Hare. Ooooops :) So that then involved an extra 2 hours of travel time, in tracking down a shuttle to finish off my journey.

We did get food though! Always a victory!

We are all exhausted and planning on playing it completely by ear on Friday. Helen will be back with her son, and Deb, Lynne, Donna and Camille will be arriving at various times during the day to join us. We will be taking it VERY easy on Friday as we all recover from our flights and regain our sanity. We will try to do some random Skypes during the day - the hotel has free wireless throughout the hotel - so if you're around and Skypable, keep an eye out for our online messages! If you are online and available to talk, please change your Skype message to indicate it. That way we know we can bug you when we hunker down in the lounge after our pool-noodle-fight.
