I am back home again and busily catching up on a variety of things!

FACEBOOK IMAGES
When an article is promoted on Facebook - either by you or by a visitor - Facebook would populate the "image" area of the promotion with a wild array of images from our site, like our RSS button or our search arrow or so on. It led to a lot of confusion as you might imagine.

We can set Facebook to use "one image" for a given page, to help make that more easy.

I've currently set our article pages to use your bio photo. As Sharon, our Business Coach, so clearly explains in her great article on marketing -

Our photos are 56 pixels wide, and Facebook shows them at 100 pixels wide. Meaning the faces fuzz a bit when they expand. So this leads to a second idea. Maybe we should have a 100 pixel wide version of our photos to use in Facebook and other areas, so it matches their specifications. We can't, as you might imagine, just expand the images we have. They would fuzz. We'd need to start with new ones.

This can definitely be on an if-you-want-to basis. If you use Facebook to promote your articles (which we highly recommend!) let me know if you'd like to have a larger-sized bio photo image on the server for that purpose. What I'll do is take the new photo you send me and create both the smaller BellaOnline-use size, and then a larger Facebook-use size and have them both on the site. I'll then set up your pages to handle the two sizes properly.

I know this sounds a little confusing :) In essence, if you want a clearer image for Facebook, let me know and I'll help set it up for you!
