Summer Camp Fun and ADD
Greetings from the Land of OZ!
Last year I wrote an article about finding a summer camp for that wonderful, creative child who has ADD. I started another summer camp article, and then decided that I liked the older one. However, it needed some additions. There are some new links that give resources to help find a camp. Also, this year I listed considerations for deciding if a child requires a special needs camp or not.
Summer is the time to refresh the spirit and build memories. If you decide to send your child to summer camp, carefully choose a camp that is a good match for your child’s needs! Summer camp can help foster independence and permit your child to have experiences that help him develop his interests.
