I hope you all had a delightful weekend! Summertime is now here. You'll find site traffic tends to mellow in the summer - people are out enjoying the sunshine and not on their computers as much. This is the perfect time to do any rearranging or cleanup you've been pondering. Sort out your subjects, link articles to each other, tweak the ads you're running. September will see everything kick back into gear again - and this way you're ready for it!

TWO SITES
Several editors have asked recently about taking on a second site. If you're a fully graduated editor and are steadily writing weekly for the current site, we'd love to have you apply for a second! The list of open sites is here -

TRAFFIC BUILDING CHAT
While traffic does tend to mellow as we head into the summer, several editors are bucking this trend and growing at a good clip! Jeanne, our African Culture editor, has increased traffic by 36% since January. Lestie, our Container Gardening editor, has doubled her traffic!

To learn the tricks of increasing your traffic, come by our next Editor Chat on Tuesday, June 7th at 9pm EST. We'll cover a variety of ways of boosting traffic. If it's income you're interested in, we'll be sure to include ways to turn that traffic into money.
