Living in the San Francisco Bay area fresh seafood is readily available just like in Bangkok and the seaside areas of Thailand. Fried rice is one of my husband's favourite meals, and of course using our amazing local seafood is an often choice.

If you do not have access to fresh seafood frozen shellfish works great also. Many markets sell a frozen bag of mixed shellfish that is wonderful for my Thai Fried Rice with Seafood recipe.
