Eyelashes! Thick, thin, long, short, black, brown, feathered, curled, bedazzled beautiful eyelashes! No matter how you wear them and if you were born with them or glue them on every morning (a lady never tells ;) ), it's no surprise that women have been obsessed with making their eyelashes stand out since the Egyptian Empire!

This week, I have posted two brand new articles for your reading enjoyment. The first is an article giving you a brief history of where our obsession with eye lash cosmetics came from (it's not boring, I promise!). The second is a follow up to that article breaking down the most common tools and products used to enhance your peepers. You can find both articles here:

Eyelash Enhancements Demystified!
A follow up to my recent article about the history of womens obsession with eyelash perfection and the woes that come along with it, a informative breakdown of current eyelash enhancers.

Your Weekly Quick Tip: Having trouble keeping your eyeshadow in place all day or did you pick a colour you loved in the pot but doesn't quite show up on your skin? Rub your finger over an open tube of non-medicated Chap Stick and then rub it over your eyelid; apply shadow with a eyeshadow brush over the top and voila! Instant intense stay-still colour for $1.29 a tube!

Tool of the Week Lexicon Entry:
Propolis (n.): A red resin collected from trees by bees that is harvested and used in lips balms and toothpastes. Also known as bee glue.

As always, you can visit the Cosmetics main page for past articles, including my Top Ten Beauty Tools and How to Prep Your Skin for Make Up!

In between articles and the weekly newsletter, always feel free to stop by the Cosmetics forum and share your thoughts, tips, product rants, and more! I also post threads in there outside of current articles, and who knows when you will be able to shine as a cosmetics diva yourself!
