Large & Lovely

June 16 2009 Large & Lovely Newsletter

Greetings Large and Lovelies,

The wedding was great. The bride was gorgeous and I thought I looked lovely in my Igigi dress. No photos yet. I have one photo of my head (I know, I couldn't believe it either). I had asked someone to take a picture of Jeff and I but somehow that didn't happen in the rush to get pictures of the family and the kids. I'm hoping some of the pictures from elsewhere that come in will have one. (If you ever get the chance you must try an iced cider peeler. It's a cross between a spritzed wine and beer.)

I've added a few clothing updates to the site. Most of you might be familiar with them but some of you may not -- Fashion Bug and Old Navy. They are actually part of an upcoming article for affordable plus size fashions that a reader requested. The links are below.

A few weeks ago you might remember that I reviewed a Cool-Jams night shirt. Well, the company is sponsoring a giveaway on my blog (link below). It ends June 24 and the winner gets to pick from their selection of moisture wicking sleepwear. And of course it is easy to enter. Check the blog for details.

Have a great week!

Old Navy Plus Size Clothing -- This shop has developed an excellent online presence for affordable plus size clothing despite a lot of brouhaha for them removing their plus size line from their walk in stores.
