Hi everyone,
Welcome to another F1 newsletter, catching up with the news from the last few weeks, and a recap of some recent articles on the BellaOnline site.
In the news:
• A fantastic race in Canada saw Robert Kubica boosted to the top step of the podium, and more importantly, the lead in the driver’s championship. BMW are content enough with the one win, saying they don’t think the championship is in their grasp this year, but it’s definitely a step in the right direction.
• Max Mosley received the vote of confidence he was looking for in the first few days of June. This means he can continue in his role as President of the FIA, which as you can imagine went down with mixed reception amongst fans, journalists, and motoring bodies alike. Several of the bigger organisations are reducing their involvement in the FIA in the wake of the result.
• Sadly, ex-Toyota team principal Ove Andersson was killed on 11th June in a rally crash. He was participating in the Milligan classic rally in South Africa, and hit another car head on. The current Toyota principal paid his respects, and the team will run a black band around the car in France.

Exclusive to the newsletter, I'd like to ask a question to everyone out there, and see what you're thinking about the state of F1 and the events going on at the time. You can post on the forums or send an email using the contact form.
This time round: Can BMW go on to win the championship? Is it right that Robert has only won once and is now leading? They often say that consistency in F1 can be just as important as winning, and that is shown with BMW. Kubica has been in the points more often than not this year, and a single win has boosted him to the top of the title table. I don’t think BMW can go all the way this year, but I’m excited that the competition is so fierce out there.
That's it for this newsletter. I hope to hear from you sometime soon, either in the forum or in response to this email message. I thrive on your feedback!
Have fun passing this message along to family and friends, because we all love free knowledge!
