Hello to everyone from Interior Alaska!
We have been having an honest to goodness that wave here in Alaska lately. It has been i the upper eighty and low nineties. I know that is nothing for the southern US, but it is toasty warm here!
This last week I was reminded of a nice class that was held at my local guild about a craft that is a precursor to knitting - naalbinding. Naalbinding is the topic of the latest article from the Knitting site at BellaOnline.com.
Naalbinding
wondering what needle crafts may have predated knitting? Looking for another way to use your woolen and felt able yarns to make beautiful crafts? or, are you a historical recreationist looking for more information on ancient crafts. Find out about Naalbinding here.
