When we think of simplifying our lives, our first thought is about organization. But while an orderly office definitely streamlines your work, there are other areas of your life that can benefit from simplification, too.

My husband and I spent a good portion of the early years of marriage arguing. One might say that this was a bad sign for our relationship, and no doubt, those years were frustrating. Fast forward 25 years and we’re still married and more in love than ever before. How did that happen? We learned to argue effectively. And when mutual understanding was not forthcoming, we learned to end the argument fast.
