Beer Cookery - Beer Fox Arrogant Bastard Steak
A favorite attraction for a summertime barbecue by the pool. A juicy slab of steak, a rich brew, and music with an arrogant beat!

Beer Fox Tip of the Week:

The shape of a beer glass can markedly affect the aromatic presentation, formation and retention of the head, and the sustenance of carbonation. In Belgium, each beer has its own unique glass.  It is not unusual for
European pubs to have 300 different styles of glassware.  Check out E-Bay for some great bargains on authentic beer glasses.

Don''t get discouraged.  If you check back every few days, you will be amazed at the treasures you will find!

Beer Fox Laugh of the Week:

A visiting minister was assisting at a local church service. During the offertory prayer, the following happened:

"Dear Lord," he began with arms extended and a rapturous look on his upturned face, "without you we are but dust..."

He would have continued, but at that moment one little girl leaned over to her mother and asked quite loudly, "Mommy, WHAT is butt dust?"

Beer News:

June 10th signaled the opening of the Wine and Liquor Shop at Penn Station in New Jersey.

Had a tough day?  Transit riders can now get an ice-cold can of Bud, Coors, Heineken, or Foster''s - or  mini bottles of Merlot, Vodka Martinis, or 12-ounce bottles of juice and rum - for the ride home.

Craft Brew of the Week Award:

Mountain Mantra - New Belgium Brewing Company, Fort Collins, Colorado, USA
Style -  American India Pale Ale

Pure golden-orange, crystal clear and sparkling like a gem in a jewelry store!  A thick white head contrasts the inner lights, while the glass laces delicately when swirled.

Smooth and complex, with a decidedly Belgian base.  Citrus, florals and honey are accented by a symphony of hops!

Cheers!
