Welcome to the Job Quest Success
Difficult interview question of the week: Tell me about yourself.
Don’t give them a boring, dry monologue about your entire work history from birth to present. Before the interview pick two or three key details about your work history and match them to a skill the company is looking for.
For example, did you work in retail and looking for a career in Human Resources? Talk about your hiring, recruiting, performance management and scheduling skills in your previous jobs.
Remember, they can read your resume. Share a story they don’t know that matters to them!
