Plains Indian Dresses, Book Review
"19th Century Plains Indian Dresses by Susan Jennys is a "must have" book if you are making traditional style dresses for your regalia at a powwow. Or, to just have a beautifully made dress of your very own to wear in the tradition of the ancestors."

The Maid Of The Mists
"A beautiful girl had lost her husband and her hope at a young age, and could not find her way through the sorrow upon sorrow that was her lot in life. So she stepped one day into her canoe, singing a death song softly to herself, and paddled out into the current."

Coyote The Hungry
"Now Coyote was always hungry, and as he was a coward, he used to sneak about the fields and timber searching for something to eat. One day, as he was walking by the side of a brook, he heard something in a Persimmon Tree. He looked up, and there was Opossum eating Persimmons."

If you have not yet started reading the WILD MYSTERY SERIES from Mary Higgins Clark Award Winner SANDI AULT and Berkley Prime Crime, now is the time to get this series, sit back and enjoy your summer reading time. Make a basket full of fry bread and some tasty dips to enjoy while you take a walk on the Wild Side! Ms. Ault combines the wonderful lore and legends of the Pueblos Peoples in the Southwestern United States with exciting and thrilling mysteries.

WILD INDIGO and AND WILD INFERNO introduced Jamaica Wild, a BLM agent, and her beloved wolf, Mountain. You will not want to miss WILD SORROW: "Now, as the icy chill of winter looms, Jamaica stumbles across a frozen corpse and a hate crime with disturbing roots in the history of the Pueblo." writes Ms. Ault. This is a thrilling sequel to Ms. Ault's first two books and a true walk on the wild side.

Ms. Ault's fourth book in this series, WILD PENANCE, promises to be just as thrilling and exciting. Look for WILD PENANCE to appear in early 2010.

A NOTE FROM SANDI AULT: "PLEASE HELP THE WOLVES! My dear friends and fans: The Wolf Education and Research Center is in dire need of funds. Contributions have slumped, and the Sawtooth and Owyhee Packs are in danger of losing their home and their protection on the Nez Perce Reservation in Idaho."

To find out about Sandi's visit to WERC, read "A Visit with the Sawtooth Pack Wolves of the Nez Perce", and to meet Tiwa, her own wolf, visit her at

On May 16, we lost a dear and beloved family member when my brother-in-law, Bill, passed away. We miss him so much. He was a wonderful, gentle, kind and loving person. He was my brother, my friend, my mentor, my heroe. To his wife, my sister, their three daughters and their families, I send my deepest sympathy, love and prayers.

Till next time, may your moccasins and heart always find a happy path. Blessings and Walk in Beauty and Harmony.
