Happy Independence Day!
Wishing everyone a blessed and safe holiday.
As I watch the news and see the coverage of Michael Jackson's death, it saddens me to see the bickering and inuendos.
Yes, we los a great talent; but his music will live on. At the same time, I recognize that he was a man of many sorrows, and it made me think of my family and those I call dear friends.
I pray that we would cherish the ones we love while they are with us. Remembering to support one another in the good and bad times. No man is an island. We all need someone, and someone to love, and return that love.
As we celebrate the Fourth, let us hold our loved ones close, and choose our friends wisely. For when it's time for s to pass on, may we leave a legacy of peace and nothing but good thoughts and memories.
Love your family. Love yourself. Love God.
Blessings,
Ruthe
