Hello Beauties,
Hopefully everyone’s week is going well so far as you all get ready for the weekend. I come to you this week with a few makeup tips for oily and dry skin types.

For oily skin types, after washing your face you want to use a gel moisturizer instead of a cream. Creams tend to leave extra oils on the skin. You want to avoid using too much product on the face which can slip and slide once the skin starts to produce oils. Use a mattifying primer on trouble areas to help control shine. For foundation, use a mattifying foundation with a thinner layer over areas that get the oiliest. Limit the use of luminous products to avoid calling attention to problem areas. Lastly, finish off the look with setting powder and an oil control setting spray.

For dry skin types, after washing the face, using a cream moisturizer can provide much needed hydration. Those with drier skin: hydrating products are your friend. Silicon based and hydrating primers can add a hydrating barrier between your face and your makeup. If working with a dry foundation try adding a few drops of your favorite hydrating serum. Dewy foundations can improve the look of dry skin. Translucent powders should be saved for oily areas of the skin instead of all over the face. Finish off your look with a hydrating setting spray.
