Greetings everyone!
I certainly hope this weekend finds you enjoying yourself and just enjoying life.
As you can see, I deviated this week from the series: The Dichotomy of Black Life. It will be posted his weekend, however.
I wanted to take the time and address mentoring and leadership. I saw a few things this week, and heard some things as well, that quite frankly, saddened my heart. We have so much to give. So much to learn. And, it doesn't matter what status in life you are currently in, we can all learn from each other.
There are many people that are hurting. Some may be so close to you, and you never realized it. People walk around with smiles on their faces that are not real. As soon as they are alone, the truth comes out in their tears. I know. I have been there numerous times.
Maybe we can begin to listen with our hearts a bit more, and spend sometime giving back out of the abundance we have received. Perhaps you may not have much right now in material or monetary means; but you may have some time to spare. Give of yourself. You just never know who's life you may be saving.
Be Blessed,
Ruthe
