Abusing Children with Drugs Child abuse is currently set into four categories, sexual, physical, neglect, and emotional. However, using drugs maliciously in children does not fall specifically into any of these categories. A new study by Dr. Shan Yin (about to be published in the Journal of Pediatrics concludes that drug abuse in children is a major problem and should be categorized as severe child abuse.
