This is my favorite tip! Carefully dismantle rooms and buildings during a renovation, so you can salvage reusable materials. These items can then be used again, donated, or sold.

Word of the week:
Greenfield Site -noun- a place in the countryside, not previously built on, that is chosen as the site for a new housing development or factory. Urban fringe sites are less attractive to developers than greenfield sites.
