Hi everyone,
Before we get going with today's newsletter, I just want to let you know that I do intend to get these letters out to you more regularly in the future. I'm hoping that every Friday, a newsletter can start coming your way. However, that should start from next week. For now, let's take a look at what's been happening since the last one.
In the news:
• The FIA have come up with a new batch of rules and regulations that they'd like to see, but at the moment they are just proposals, and the teams are unlikely to agree to them. It would appear that things like raising the entry fee price and creating a new feeder series for F1 may all be negotiating tactics and we need to hold on before we judge the proposals too seriously.
• Bernie Ecclestone confirmed that the British GP would be held from Donington Park in 2010, rather than the traditional Silverstone. Donington have agreed to spend $100 million on the circuit, and having been there, I can tell you that it needs it. However, Ecclestone says at least this way Britain gets to keep the Grand Prix, regardless of where it is.
• After the race this weekend, the top of the championship has three drivers all on the same points, with Lewis Hamilton leading on wins. Hamilton, Massa and Raikkonen all have 48 points, meaning that this championship is an even closer one than last year.

Newsletter Chatter
Exclusive to the newsletter, I'd like to ask a question to everyone out there, and see what you're thinking about the state of F1 and the events going on at the time. You can post on the forums or send an email using the contact form.
This time round: Who would you like to see replace Coulthard at Red Bull? The talk is Vettel, and in which case, who should get the Toro Rosso seat in Vettel's place? The other rumour is Alonso, but would he really want to go to Red Bull, when their competitive future is just as uncertain as Renaults?
That's it for this newsletter. I hope to hear from you sometime soon, either in the forum or in response to this email message. I thrive on your feedback!
Have fun passing this message along to family and friends, because we all love free knowledge!
