Greetings from the Land of Oz!

School has started again in Kansas, and it promises to be a busy year. Have you ever noticed that when you start something new that you have a period of disequilibrium? That's the horrible feeling where you are just struggling, and you aren't sure how everything will ever get done. Then, you make your plan, work your plan, and find the groove that makes things work for you! Well, I'm still looking for the groove, and that's where the article for this week came from.

Stuck with Attention Deficit Disorder

A year ago I started writing for the Attention Deficit Disorder site. Immediately, I got stuck in my writing. That led to the article Planning and ADD. Since that time I’ve written about 100 articles and a book. I’ve been stuck many times. Here are some techniques that have helped me get going.

With the start of school, it's not too soon to begin thinking of ways to help children with ADD to be successful. If you know somebody who has a child who is struggling in school, please recommend my book to them. Building School Success with ADD is a quick read, filled with useful information, and designed to be easily used by parents.
