Hi everyone,
Welcome to another F1 newsletter, catching up with the news from the last few weeks, and a recap of some recent articles on the BellaOnline site.
In the news:
• It was notable that Max Mosley or any representative from the FIA was present at Valencia during the European Grand Prix this past weekend. I would have expected to see someone there, at the inaugural race, promoting the good name of F1, but apparently this was not the case.
• A three day test kicked off at Monza this week, and the first two days were dominated by Ferrari and BMW. They are running some setup tests for the next race in Belgium, but also looking ahead to 2009 as well.
• Heidfeld will have been glad to top the timesheets on the second day at Monza, as BMW have apparently told him he needs to start getting better results, or his future with the team could be in doubt. Heidfeld does have a contract for 2009, but they may be prepared to forfeit that to get another driver in.
