Greetings and Salutations -
I’m looking around at marketing options for our books – all the writers I talk to say the only way to get real sales nowadays is to pay to market the books. Which, really, isn’t much different than the old days – it’s just that publishers tended to have more money than we do :). So in any case I decided to take the plunge and set up our own marketing social networking feeds, to help push our books out. That way we can at least get this publicity for free.
I’ve set it up as a website plus all major feeds:
Website:
http://bellaonline.com/freeebooks/
Facebook:
https://www.facebook.com/FreeandBargainEbooks/
Twitter:
https://twitter.com/FreeBargainBook
Google+ :
https://plus.google.com/b/108907536444885358537/108907536444885358537/posts
Please like and share all of these links so we can build our reach. Then go to the website and enter your book information in there – one entry for each book. I’ll rotate through the features to help ensure we all get promoted.
My aim is to send out tweets, FB posts, Google+ shares, and website updates each day with fresh books. That should then build our traffic, which gets us more sales, and so on.
We have enough books amongst us that we should be able to keep promoting ourselves without repeating much.
We have 23 likes so far – my current aim is to at least get it to 100. That will start to make it seem legitimate to readers.
One step at a time!
