Use the lowest-octane gas recommended for your car. High-octane gas releases a higher concentration of toxic compounds into the air than the lowest-octane gas, and only about one in ten cars produced since 1982 require a higher-octane gasoline.

Hurricanes, are called typhoons and cyclones in other parts of the world. The winds swirl around a central "eye". Wind direction is counterclockwise (west to east) in the Northern Hemisphere and clockwise (east to west) in the Southern Hemisphere.
