Greetings from the Land of OZ!

I have always enjoyed our children at whatever age that they are at. I confess to missing our evening read alouds when they were young. Reading aloud to them let me expose the guys to historical fiction that they were too young to read for themselves. It also provided a path for having serious conversations about current affairs that had their roots in the past. I am very pleased with the young men that our sons have become, but some evenings I miss having little kids to read to. Our companion animals have never showed any interest at all in snuggling and reading! Go figure!
