With the cooler weather approaching in northern latitudes, it seems appropriate to heraled in the bountiful season with a fall harvest wreath to decorate a front or back door to greet all family, friends and neighbors who would enter with a harvest welcome!

Easy Fall Harvest Welcome Wreath
Gather one grapevine wreath, approximately 1/2 to 1 yard of autumn or themed fabric, some lengths of raffia or small wooden harvest themed shapes. Naturally dried leaves, berries, small gourds or pinecones for decoration work well too.

Cut fabric with pinking shears into strips that are approximately 2" x 18" long. Tie each strip onto the wreath into a bow in various areas. Add dried leaves or wooden decorations and using a low temperature glue gun, glue those in place. Use raffia and tie in a bow at the top or bottom of your wreath if desired.

Fabric Coverings for Plastic & Glass Containers
A useful re-use/re-purpose/recycle idea is to make fabric coverings for saved margarine tubs, half-gallon milk jugs, or glass containers to be made into beautiful candy dishes, plant containers, potpourri holders, or to hold silk flower arrangements for centerpieces and more.
