Good afternoon everyone. It is truly a gorgeous afternoon here in NC. We are
6 months in from 2 salary and hourly paying jobs to one of small
business owner. I can honestly say I personally wouldn't trade it
for anything else in the world. Yes, sacrifice, but an even finer place of being.

For anyone considering a business of their own, it is truly a place, slow and steady where breathing in and out becomes easier with each passing day and
ideals begin resurfacing as far as the eye can see! As if the roads
of opportunity begin opening, once the path itself has been
affirmed and committed to for the traveler to begin :)

I wanted to wish everyone a happy fall and remind it's not too late to
prepare for some of those grey-cooler days to come, while the energy is
still in the process of changing our nature. Here, we are in between stages
where we can appreciate what was and what is in the process of
being.

As the leaves begin falling, a little trick I use is, collecting some
of them and putting them in a bag in the fridge or freezer. I collect
simple things such as pine needles or lavender sprigs. When things
are really tough, emotionally, as can happen with a great deal of
sensitives during months with little sun, I break out the bag and
crush the leaves in my hand as a final treat to a candle lit evening,
bath and a tray of cheeses and wine; A different type of cheese
along with my favorite, English smoked cheddar and guda.

When snow hits, I kid you not, I'll take a very hot steam bath with
sea salts, throw a pair of sweats on and stand for a minute or 2 in the snow and hop back in.
