This past week I received a note from one of our readers, Susan, asking for hep with spinning boucle yarns and wondering why there wasn't anything on this topic on our Bellaonline Spinning site. Her question made me realize that I have been doing my best to avoid discussing novelty yarns because...well, because I'm one of those worsted people who loves to crank out miles of nice, smooth, evenly spun yarn - the type of yarn that will show excellent stitch definition in knitting or be used for weaving traditional overshot coverlets, yarns that must be technically as close to perfect as I can possibly get them if they are to serve their intended purpose well. So I lost sight of all of the color and texture folks out there. For this, I apologize. Thank you, Susan, for calling this to my attention and for your question which led to today's article.
