July 9 2009 Breastfeeding Newsletter
It has been several months since you have received an update from me. I thank you for hanging in there and wanted to apologize for the absence of new material on the BellaOnline Breastfeeding Site. The truth is, my family had a very difficult cold and flu season this year and in it's wake, I found myself desperately behind on many, many projects.
The management here at BellaOnline was incredibly supportive and understanding. And after a several month "sabattical" I am so excited to be returning to adding new weekly articles to the site.
I'm thrilled to offer you two new topics, so here's the latest articles from the Breastfeeding site at BellaOnline.com.
Scheduled Feedings and Breastfeeding
Scheduled feedings, such as described in Ezzo's "On Becoming Babywise," can cause significant health problems in some babies. Learn more about scheduled feedings and on-cue feedings. Includes links to AAP recommendations and alerts on this topic.
Breastfeeding and Naps
Even among breastfeeding advocates, there is always some debate over whether or not it is a good idea to nurse children to sleep, especially for naps. Explore the debate and my recommendation on naps.
