As a fan of the awesome books at Usborne, I have set up a "Back to School" E-Show with lots of wonderful resource ideas. Please check in at
and view the educational choices offered for children of all ages! My son enjoys the fiction books, as well as the Internet linked books on animals. There is lots to choose from, and all of the books are of the best quality.

There have been a few interested readers who have emailed me asking about the Homeschool Mom's Book Club. I plan to reinstate the book, "Homeschooling at the Speed of Life" by Marilyn Rocket as the first book club book of this new school year. I got through about half of the book last school year, but I found myself running out of time, energy and waking hours to finish it! I am ready to revisit the book again, and explore it's supportive message alongside my fellow homeschoolers. Email me at if you are reading along, for the first time or continuing, and I will set up a chat if I can coordinate it.

Have a terrific first week back to homeschooling!
