Hi Friends!

It was a rainy day today in New Hampshire and the mall was filled with back to school shoppers. Although there are still a few weeks left before school starts, it was obvious that school is on people's minds.

Summer is still here, though, and the harvest is in full swing. The local fruit farm currently has peaches ripe fo the picking. Apples should start in a few weeks. My own garden is yielding beautiful tomatoes and some big, fat zucchini. I wildcraft and there are plenty of wild berries, wild greens, and herbs to pick. My mind plants this year have exploded.

There's no way we can use all this fresh goodness while the growing season is in full swing. At least some of it will need to be preserved. This week's article offers some options for preserving the harvest no matter what you're growing. Here's a look:
