Quilting

May 1 2014 Quilting Newsletter

Hello everyone, my sincere apologies for being sooo late with this newsletter – best laid plans and all that. I attended a two day needlework class on Wednesday and Thursday and had planned to get the newsletter done and dusted on the Wednesday night.

Of course I didn’t factor into consideration that I might have some needlework homework to do over the night break, and found myself working like the clappers getting the stitching done in time for the next class on Thursday. I stitched until my eyes popped out, and then crashed into bed for a few hours.

Anyway, after two great days of classes, I’m back to my usual modus operandi and so here’s the newsletter – better late than never. I’ll keep things short and just hope that my email finds you all well and finding some time to do a little quilting yourselves.

My article that I wrote last week was after a request from a reader regarding the Memory Bags we are making for a local Bereavement Association for Still born tragedies. I’ve included the PDF for the pattern for those interested. Here’s the link to the article: http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art183200.asp

I might take this opportunity to remind you that the quilt forum is available for those who would like to communicate to other readers – but it is not available for advertising your business or commercial interests. Here’s the link for the forum: http://forums.bellaonline.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=postlist&Board=43

And so onto my little pressies for you this week. Enjoy!
