Hello one and all, it’s another opportunity to come and have a quick catch up with you. Thank goodness it’s a quieter week this week, have been catching up on my housework and a little sewing too! The cooler weather has arrived, and I’m not complaining – beautiful clear days, crisp cool nights, very pleasant.
I’m giving a workshop on machine quilting with the walking foot for the girls at Sunshine Linus next Monday. I’m going to be highlighting the fabulous double sided adhesive batting that is readily available these days.
I’m also going to be teaching how easy it is to do not only dead straight lines with the walking foot, but curvy lines as well. I’m putting some simple quilt tops together so that they can be quilted by the students while they learn. Should be fun.
I wrote an article about the double sided adhesive batting last week, here’s the link to that article if you’re interested. http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art183241.asp
I have some interesting little vignettes for you this week; I do hope you enjoy browsing through them.
