Hello there, another newsletter coming your way from Bellaonline – The Voice of Women. It’s been a busy week of attending craft groups and lots of sewing – so I’m feeling pretty happy! On Tuesday I attended our Queensland Quilters monthly gathering – it was great to catch up with girls I haven’t seen in a while and good to see the group is in good hands with their committee.
A guild or group is only as good as each individual member and its committee. I always think that belonging to a group is a two way exercise and there are expectations on both sides that need to be respected. Hmmmm that sounds like another article I could write……
Anyway, yesterday I attended the Mountain Quilters Friendship day and it was a fabulous day of wonderful fun, meeting new and old friends and the most delicious spread of food. These mountain girls are great cooks, I can attest to that! Some great show and tell too.
Unfortunately my camera’s battery conked out just after I took the first picture so I’ll have to get some photos from my friend and post them on the blog asap. (Note to self: always carry a spare battery!).
Last week I posted my article titled 20 Timely Tips for Quilters. These were 20 random tips I use to complete my quilting creations. I hope you find something here that helps you. Here’s the link to that article: http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art180831.asp
The forum has been busy with chat – lovely to catch up with you girls. I’m posting a forum question where you can post your three most helpful tips for quilters. Here’s the link and I’m looking forward to hearing from you: http://forums.bellaonline.com/ubbthreads.php/topics/829117#Post829117

Anyway, stay well and busy for the next week, when I’ll pop in again for a quick chat.
Cheerio for now
